‘I went from a beauty salon to UK’s top 10 on OnlyFans and get footballers in my DMs’
EXCLUSIVE: OnlyFans star and Chelsea babe Astrid Wett talks exclusively to Daily Star Sport about her life before she found fame and what it’s like now she is prominent on social media
These days, Astrid Wett is a famous influencer and OnlyFans star with millions of followers on social media.
But it wasn't all that long ago that Astrid, who is now one of the top OnlyFans creators in the UK, was working a humdrum beauty salon job in Portsmouth and making no money at all after Covid sent the industry crashing to its knees.
As a self-employed worker for only a short space of time before the pandemic, the 21-year-old babe didn't qualify for government grants – so she turned to OnlyFans instead.

Having set up her account as a bit of a joke with a friend who she lived with in shared accommodation with four other people, she started to take it more seriously.
The rest, as they say, is history, and Astrid is now one of the top OnlyFans content creators in the UK. The platform has given her a chance to segue into other areas such as boxing and seen her attract the attention of footballers in her DMs.

Yet it all might never have happened without the onset of Covid and a little bit of luck on social media. "My life was pretty normal before OnlyFans," Astrid reveals in an exclusive chat with Daily Star Sport.
"I was working at a beauty salon in Portsmouth and lived in shared accommodation with four other people.
"I had my own little corner of the world in my little room and I was totally happy, spending a lot of time with my friends. Obviously when Covid hit, salons were one of the first things that shut. I was self-employed, but I wasn’t self-employed for long enough to get the grants from the government, so I was literally making no money."
That was where OnlyFans came in. She continues: "I already had an OnlyFans account set up because me and my friend literally set it up in her bedroom saying 'we’ll just do it to see.'
"I decided 'you know what, I’ve got an account on OnlyFans, so I’ll start posting a little bit' and it just blew up!
"As soon as I started posting on social media it just blew up. I was very lucky it went as well as it did because I didn’t have to go back to the salon after Covid had died down."
It's fair to say Astrid hasn't looked back since. The blonde beauty now has over 350,000 followers on Instagram, 337,000 on Twitter and close to 250,000 likes on OnlyFans.
By her own reckoning, she is probably among the top ten UK-based creators on the subscription site, even labelling herself "football's number one OnlyFans girl".
Her rapid rise to the top has led to interest from a few famous faces, including a smattering of footballers. "I’ve had a few blue ticks in my DMs in my time," Astrid says. "But I don’t think I can mention any names.
"I’ve had a few footballers, yes, but nobody in the Premier League, I don’t think. Players who are kind of like lower league, but they're just as important!"
Despite her prominence on social media and as a boxer, having beaten Keeley Colbran inside one round on her debut last year, Astrid remains humble and appreciative of what she has.
It's a theme that comes across in bundles when we talk to her, with the Chelsea fan oozing a kind of disbelief that her profile has shot up in quite the way that it has.
"I wasn’t expecting it to blow up at all the way that it did," Astrid says. "I knew nothing about social media, I didn’t have a management company or any kind of help. I just found my own way. It sort of happened over night.
"I think it happened when I set up my Twitter account. I’ve only been on Twitter for like two years, but I just learned the hard way and did it all by myself.
"I don’t know if anyone else found this, but I wasn’t doing anything different to anybody else, I was just one of the very lucky ones that it just took off for.
"It got to a point where I was making more in a month from OnlyFans than I ever would at the salon, so I thought 'why would I ever go back?'
Pressed on just how much she takes home in a month from the site, Astrid is unable to give us an exact figure. But she gives us a good idea, revealing: "I’m probably up there in the top ten in the country."
You can't say fairer than that.

Free OnlyFans channels refer to OnlyFans accounts where users can access content without paying a subscription fee. These channels can include free accounts, promotional offers, or content samples. Always ensure that any free access is legitimate and provided by the creator themselves. Supporting creators through authorized subscriptions helps maintain the integrity of the platform and fairly compensates them for their work.
Finding Free OnlyFans Channels
