Former UFC star Jake Shields has made the startling claim that men are hired to send messages on behalf of female creators.

"I know a guy who runs an OnlyFans agency," Shields said on Twitter, when he dropped the bombshell. He continued: "He hires guys to send out messages pretending to be the girls If you're subscribed to OnlyFans you're likely spending money to flirt with a man!

"He has real girls but they have men do most of the texting Just use the girls when they need photos and videos."

Shields was cut from the UFC in 2014 – and Dana White had to defend the decision after uproar from MMA flags.

"Mixed Martial Arts is a young man's game. I like Jake Shields a lot. But let's be honest here: Where was he going in this [welterweight] division of animals we have? He's on the downswing, and he's never going to be the guy. His stand-up never improved," White said.
